aigw

Terms

Last updated: [DATE]

These terms govern your use of aigw. aigw is operated by [Company legal name] ([jurisdiction]) ("we", "us"). By using the service you agree to these terms. For Enterprise customers, a signed agreement takes precedence over this page where the two differ.

Service

aigw is an EU-hosted AI gateway. You point your applications and agents at an OpenAI-compatible endpoint; aigw routes each request to the model provider you choose and governs it with the controls you configure (per-key budgets, policy, guardrails, exfil and DLP scanning, and a tamper-evident audit log). aigw does not resell inference and does not pool billing across customers. Pricing is a flat platform fee for use of the gateway.

Your provider keys and accounts

aigw uses your own provider API keys (bring your own keys). You hold your own contracts directly with each model provider. You are responsible for complying with each provider's terms and usage policies, for the content of the prompts and data you send, and for the charges your providers bill you. We call providers on your behalf using the keys you supply; we do not act as a reseller of, or party to, your provider agreements.

Acceptable use

  • No illegal use, and no use for phishing, malware, CSAM, or sanctioned activity.
  • Respect the terms and usage policies of every model provider you route to through aigw.
  • No attempts to disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security of the service, and no high-volume programmatic abuse of the sign-in or magic-link endpoints. Use API keys for automated access.
  • You are responsible for the requests you send and the agents you connect. What you send through the gateway, and what you do with the responses, is on you.

Availability

We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but we do not promise a specific uptime level on this plan. Any service level commitment applies only if it is set out in a separate Enterprise agreement. The service depends on third-party model providers whose availability is outside our control.

Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the aigw software and platform. You retain all rights in your own content, keys, and configuration. You grant us only the limited rights needed to operate the service for you, for example to route your requests and to record the metadata and audit events described in our privacy policy.

Warranties and disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Model outputs are generated by third-party providers and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing them before you rely on them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the [12] months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access we reasonably believe is being used in breach of these terms or that puts the service or other customers at risk. We will notify you where practical. You can stop using the service at any time by pointing your applications away from the aigw endpoint and closing your workspace; contact us to have your account and stored keys deleted.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], and the courts of [jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
